Hello, Grotesqueteers! I'm super excited to report that tomorrow I'll be hopping in a car with the inimitable Gears on Acid and heading to Philadelphia for the Third Annual Philadelphia Alt Taxidermy Competition!
This will mark my second time at this event, which is hosted by the gracious and super-talented Beth Beverly, whose work has been featured on AMC, Vice, and a ton of other outlets. My first visit resulted in a lot of terrific friendships with fellow rogue taxidermists and enthusiasts, including the fabulous fellows at Bazaar Baltimore—who hosted the competition I attended last fall.
