Last Friday (June 3), I accompanied Gears on Acid to an art show she was involved with in Michigan City. I had no idea that the town had a designated Uptown Arts District, but was excited to meet new, active artists and learn about various opportunities in that area. After talking with the President and some others, I made the decision to join their ranks and am now a member of the Southern Shore Art Association! I'll be joining the group for a "Fine Arts Fusion" exhibit during the month of July. The opening reception will be held Friday, July 1 from 5-8 p.m. I hope some of you can come and support this event!
