LARAMIE

This piece incorporates taxidermy, religious iconography, Biblical verses, and news clippings to address ongoing violence and institutional prejudice against LGBQT persons. I've struggled with bringing this piece to fruition, as it demanded to be made despite my misgivings and hesitancy to make so bold a statement. I can only hope that it raises questions, inspires dialogue, and challenges assumptions.
