WET SPECIMENS

Wet specimens date back to the 17th century and are an itegral part of any natural history collection. They may include straightforward study specimens or medical oddities / pathologies.

 

The wet specimens created at La Grotesquerie are carefully preserved using museum methods and are wax sealed with hand-lettered, identifying tags. Unfortunately, they cannot be shipped in liquid and are therefore only available when purchased locally.
